John Green Campaign Fixture

This March, Bristol Rovers has partnered with the Bristol Rovers Community Trust, North Bristol NHS Trust, and Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon and Gloucestershire (SWAG) Cancer Alliance on a prostate cancer awareness campaign. The campaign is named in honour of lifelong Bristol Rovers supporter John Green, who was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer in early 2024 and has been committed to raising awareness of the disease ever since.

The John Green Campaign culminates at our final home fixture in March. Representatives from the SWAG Cancer Alliance and NHS North Bristol will be on site giving out information and chatting to supporters in the Fanzone and bar areas.

Prostate cancer is known for being a silent killer. To try and counteract this, please join us for a minute's noise before kick-off - you can clap, cheer or shout to show your support for the John Green Campaign! You will also notice the players wearing campaign t-shirts during the warm up.

You can find out more about the campaign here.
