Bristol Rovers ranked third in Sky Bet League Two for minutes given to Academy-developed players during the 2025/26 season.
As part of Raised in the EFL, where clubs shine a light on their commitment to youth development between 11 and 25 September, the Gas are delighted to share that the Pirates also rank inside the top ten for minutes given to Academy-developed players during the 2025/26 season across the whole of the English Football League.
Captain Alfie Kilgour topped the Rovers' rankings, playing 3,059 minutes in Sky Bet League Two. Striker Ellis Harrison played 1,956 minutes and scored 11 goals in the fourth tier.
Tom Lockyer returned to the Gas in October and played 970 minutes, with Ollie Dewsbury getting 210 minutes in Sky Bet League Two before a successful loan spell at Weston-super-Mare.
Away from league action, there were also senior debuts in the EFL Trophy. Tom English and Kian Hill both featured, with the latter signing a professional contract with the Pirates in the summer.
