Bristol Rovers have been drawn to face Peterborough United at home in Southern Section Round One of the 2026/27 Carabao Cup.
Steve Evans’ side will welcome Luke Williams' Posh to The Memorial Stadium in the first round of the competition, with the fixture taking place between Friday 7 – Sunday 9 August 2026 as the opener to the 2026/27 campaign.
The first-round stage of the competition sees all sides across the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two included, with Premier League teams involved from the second-round stage.
The tournament remains regionalised until Round Three, when Premier League teams involved in UEFA European competitions enter the competition.
Rovers defeated Peterborough in our last outing against the Posh, with goals from James Wilson, Isaac Hutchinson and Ruel Sotiriou securing a 3-1 victory at The Mem in Sky Bet League One in February 2025.
The date, time and ticketing details regarding our Carabao Cup first round fixture will be confirmed in due course.
