Bristol Rovers will begin the 2026/27 Sky Bet League Two campaign with a trip to face newly promoted York City.
Steve Evans’ Pirates will travel to the LNER Community Stadium to play last season’s National League champions on Saturday 15 August 2026, with kick-off set for 3pm BST and the match to be shown live on Sky Sports Football.
A thrilling start to the season then continues with a Severnside derby set as the first home match of the campaign, with Newport County visiting The Memorial Stadium on Saturday 22 August.
The 2026/27 season will conclude for Bristol Rovers with a home match against Oldham Athletic on Saturday 8 May 2027. Rovers’ final away game of the campaign sends the Pirates up to Prenton Park to face Tranmere Rovers a week before, on Saturday 1 May 2027.
Rovers will be home on Boxing Day, playing Walsall at The Memorial Stadium on Saturday 26 December 2026, with the festive schedule then seeing the Gas play Port Vale away on Tuesday 29 December and then visit Northampton Town on New Year’s Day.
Gasheads can look forward to a West Country clash and a local derby at The Memorial Stadium in the first half of the season. Exeter City visit BS7 on Saturday 26 September while Swindon Town make the trip on Saturday 24 October. The reverse fixtures send the Gas to The Nigel Eady County Ground on Saturday 23 January 2027, and to St James Park on Saturday 24 April 2027.
