Bristol Rovers v Barnet
Sky Bet League Two, The Memorial Stadium, Monday 29th December 2025, 7:45pm KO
Bristol Rovers will look to end 2025 in style when they welcome Barnet to The Memorial Stadium in Sky Bet League Two.
The Pirates will be looking to bounce back with a first win under Head Coach Steve Evans after falling to a 3-2 defeat to Bromley on Friday afternoon.
The Gas started strongly and gained a two-goal advantage thanks to strikes from Jack Sparkes and Fabrizio Cavegn, but after Shaq Forde's second-half red card, a goal from Nick Kabambab and a brace by Ben Thompson helped the Ravens to all three points.
Rovers will be looking to make up for their 4-0 defeat to Barnet earlier this month, with the Bees drawing 0-0 with Newport County in their last outing.

Opposition...
The Bees are having their first season in Sky Bet League Two since the 2017/18 term, after winning promotion as National League champions and going up alongside Oldham Athletic.
Dean Brennan’s side has had a season of ups and downs, suffering three successive losses in the first three games of the season. However, the Bees picked up form, earning wins against Swindon Town and Cheltenham soon after to gain some momentum, losing just one of their nine matches after their slow start.
Nevertheless, Barnet are going through another tricky patch of results, triumphing in one of their previous ten league fixtures. Back-to-back 3-1 defeats to Chesterfield and Salford City came before their goalless draw with Newport, with the visitors now 13th in the table.
Previous Meetings...
Barnet first met the Gas in November 1983 in an FA Cup clash, ending 0-0. Rovers then defeated Barnet in a replay three days later, with a comfortable 3-1.
The Pirates are winless in their previous four outings against Barnet across all competitions, with their most recent defeat coming at the Hive earlier this month. Before the 2025/26 campaign, the two teams last met in the 2015/16 season.
Rovers beat Barnet 3-1 at The Mem thanks to goals from Lee Brown, Jermaine Easter and Matty Taylor before Barnet won the reverse fixture 1-0.
