After a quiet first half, Steve Evans made four changes at half-time to change the momentum of the game. Ryan de Havilland, one of the players introduced, lifted a cross towards Alfie Kilgour, who beat Jake Turner with a header to level the score.
The Pirates had all of the momentum and gained the lead through Ellis Harrison, who scored from close range to complete an impressive comeback for the visitors in front of 444 travelling Gasheads.
