Watch the extended highlights from Bristol Rovers' 1-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League Two.
The Shews had won their previous three fixtures on the road and got off to a bright start to the contest, with Will Boyle heading over and Iwan Morgan racing down the right before driving a low shot across the goal and wide of the left post.
Chances were hard to come by for the Gas in the first half, but a triple change in the attack soon into the second gave them plenty of momentum. Yusuf Akhamrich, one of the trio which was introduced, curled a shot wide before blasting another effort against the outside of the net, before Rovers broke the deadlock.
Tommy Leigh, returning from illness, reacted quickly to Kofi Balmer's long throw-in being cleared to his feet, drilling a first-time strike beyond the reach of Matthew Cox, with the ball taking a deflection on its way into the bottom corner. His fourth goal in three matches was enough to seal all three points for Steve Evans' men, with the Gas winning five of their last six matches at home.
