Everything you need to know about the FA Cup first-round proper draw

Emirates FA Cup Draw

Bristol Rovers will be ball number 9 in the 2025/26 Emirates FA Cup’s first round proper draw.

Supporters can watch the draw live on TNT Sports 1 before the final tie of the fourth round qualifying between Worthing and Forest Green Rovers. Alternatively, the draw can also be streamed for free on discovery+ and the TNT Sports YouTube channel.

All 48 teams from Sky Bet League One and Sky Bet League Two will join the 32 non-league teams that progressed from the qualifying rounds, with Premier League and Sky Bet Championship sides joining at the third round stage.

Rovers reached the third round of the Emirates FA Cup last season. The Gas beat Weston-super-Mare in the first round before a penalty shoot-out victory over Barnsley set up an away tie against then Premier League outfit Ipswich Town, with the Tractor Boys coming away with a 3-0 victory.

Fixtures from the first round will take place around the weekend of Saturday 1 November.
