The Pirates were looking to start November with a victory after a difficult October. However, Darrell Clarke's men were up against a Ravens side high on confidence after their 2-1 win over Milton Keynes Dons in their previous fixture.
The Ravens had the better chances in the opening hour of the contest, with Luke Southwood forced into two top saves to deny Michael Cheek before the Gas gained the lead through Fabrizio Cavegn's close-range header.
The striker then turned provider for Joel Cotterill four minutes later, with the midfielder tapping in to get his first goal for the Gas. Bromley did not give up, with Jemiah Umolu getting one back for the hosts before Omar Sowunmi found the back of the net in the final moments, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
