The 23-year-old signed for the Pirates from Swiss Challenge League side FC Vaduz for an undisclosed fee in the summer after scoring 41 goals in 103 appearances in his senior career, and did not take long to get going in the blue-and-white quarters.
Cavegn scored his first two goals for the Gas in a 4-4 draw with Tottenham Hotspur U21S before hitting the back of the net for the first time in Sky Bet League Two against Barrow at The Memorial Stadium.
His goal against the Bluebirds was the start of a run where he netted in five of six straight fixtures in the fourth tier, but his most memorable match was Rovers' opening game of 2026 against Shrewsbury Town. With the score level at half-time, the striker hit an impressive hat-trick to help the Pirates to three points.
