The Rovers youngster extends his stay at Gloucester City until January.
Russe joined the National League North outfit on a one-month loan deal in August and has since enjoyed an extended run of first-team football.
The 20-year-old is no stranger to Gloucester City, having spent a spell there last season on loan, playing nine games for the side, scoring once.
The extended loan deal for the midfielder will now run until January.
Gloucester currently sit in 13th spot in the National League North and travel to face Kings Lynn Town on Saturday.
