After trialling the Here to Help scheme towards the back end of last season, the club now has Here to Help volunteers for every 23/24 Sky Bet League One fixture.
For our fixture versus Peterborough (20/4/24) we will have Here to Help volunteers situated at the Main Entrance, in the Fanzone and the Thatchers Bar. If you have any queries, please feel free to ask them for assistance and they'll be sure to help! Our volunteers will be wearing blue t-shirts/hoodies with large "Here to Help" branding so should be easily locatable.
Our Here to Help scheme aims to further enhance and improve our fans' matchday experience by providing support to any supporter who has any questions or specific needs. We place small groups of Here to Help volunteers at various points around The Memorial Stadium who can provide assistance to supporters in all areas of the ground.

Could you be a Here to Help volunteer?
We are looking for welcoming, confident and friendly individuals who will find enjoyment in helping others.
A strong knowledge of Rovers and The Memorial Stadium is preferred, but not essential as we can provide you with assistance needed to gain the knowledge you’ll need to help out.
Ultimately, we just want you to provide an hospitable and warm experience for anyone you interact with!
Benefits of being a Here to Help volunteer
Although being part of the Here to Help scheme means you’ll be a volunteer, there are various benefits you’ll receive:
- Matchday ticket for every game you volunteer at. If you are a Season Ticket holder you'll receieve the value of your match ticket as credit to your Ticketmaster account.
- Free hot food and drink token.
- Here to Help branded Rovers clothing.
How will it work?
Once signed up as a Here to Help volunteer, you’ll have a direct line of contact with our Marketing Executive who will liaise with you on a weekly basis.
From here, you’ll be able to discuss anything you need and let us know your availability for upcoming fixtures. If you’re available, you’ll then be booked in for the fixture.
Then, on matchday, we will meet at The Memorial Stadium at 12pm (meeting place to be confirmed) where you’ll be quickly briefed before heading to your area of The Memorial Stadium for 12:30pm.
You’ll be in position until kick-off to welcome people to the stadium and be open to answering any questions and providing help to anyone who needs it.
If you have any issues, or things you’re unsure of, you’ll be able to contact our Marketing Executive, who will be on call to assist you.
A general view of your day as a Here to Help volunteer:
12pm – Arrive at The Memorial Stadium, quick briefing with our Marketing Executive.
12:30pm – Take place at your designated area and be there to help!
3pm – Enjoy the game on us!
