Academy - Sessional Academy Physio/Sports Therapist

To support the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to all Bristol Rovers FC Academy players within the schoolboy program and to assist on a match day (weekend and some occasional midweek fixture).

To work as an integral member of the Sport Science and Medicine
To support in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all players within the pre-academy, Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase.
To support YDP/FP/schoolboy match day cover as required.
To assist the Athletic Development coach in the conducting of physical movement screening and anthropometric tests as required To assist in the collection and evaluation of ‘Readiness to Train’ and ‘Wellbeing’ data as required • To ensure all school boy medical equipment and procedures are regularly reviewed and maintained at the Training Ground.
Ensuring good communication pathways with all management and coaching staff regarding player availability and optimal training strategies for all schoolboy players.
Support the education of all schoolboy players and parents in terms of injury prevention, injury care, post-match recovery, diet and drug awareness.
Ensure all medical notes are up to date within 24 hours of treatment.
Ad hoc duties as required by management.

Bristol Rovers Community Trust is seeking to employ two dynamic individuals to join the staffing team at the award winning official charity of Bristol Rovers FC.

Community Coach: Primary School Sport Specialist (Full Time)

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality delivery of our primary school sport and PE provision, as well as other community programmes. The successful candidate will need to be able to deliver a range of PE lessons and curriculum based classroom learning to young people, who are of varying ability, predominately in KS2.  Our Premier League Primary Stars programme and the EFL Move and Learn project will be key areas of responsibly of the successful candidate. The role will involve forming partnerships with local schools and other key stakeholders with the aim of increasing the physical ability, health and wellbeing of participants through education & participation. Fundraising Events and Activities Co-Ordinator (Part Time)

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and shaping the Trust’s fundraising events and activities, in order to grow our unrestricted income. The role will involve identifying, organising and running fundraising events / activities in line with the Trusts vision, in keeping with current and emerging fundraising trends. The role will require working with key members of staff, such as the Trusts Media Manager, to co-ordinate a fundraising events calendar to maximise income generation. It will be vital to utilise the clubs fan base and maximise their engagement in our fundraising activities and build strong positive relationships with our beneficiaries. In addition, engaging new members of the community in our fundraising efforts will be a key area of growth. Income generation targets will need to be achieved within agreed timescales and management of fundraising budget will be essential to this roles success.
