Cleaning Team Member

The cleanliness of our stadium is vital to creating the right impression to our supporters, clients and for the wellbeing of our staff.

We are looking for an individual to join our Cleaning Team at the Memorial Stadium. You must be able to undertake a range of manual cleaning activities both indoor and outdoor. Be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and to be able to work effectively using your own initiative.

Hours of work: 07.00 – 13.00 Monday to Friday, extra hours may be required on match days. Closing date Wednesday March 20th.

The Academy are currently looking to recruit for the following roles:

Talent ID Vacancies
Bristol Rovers FC are looking to expand the Recruitment Department of our Category 3 Licenced Academy programme and are accepting applications for new scouts. Successful applicants will report directly to the Head of Academy Recruitment and will support the identification and recruitment of talented local players who have the potential to progress into the Academy program.
We are looking for individuals who have a strong knowledge of local junior football and ideally with a pre-existing network of contacts. The individual must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to act as a front-line ambassador for the Club and the Academy within the local community.
The roles involve flexible working. There will also be an expectation for administrative tasks to be completed as part of the role.
Applicants must be locally based and be in possession of the FA Talent ID Level 1 and FA Safeguarding Certificate.
Successful applicants will undergo a screening process that will include an Enhanced DBS Check.

Assistant Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach (Part Time / Casual)

Bristol Rovers FC Academy are looking to recruit an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach to support the delivery of our athletic development program for players within the Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase (u9s – u16s). The role will involve working midweek evenings.

Key Tasks include:
- Support on the delivery of athletic development based sessions to 9-16 year olds
- Support and monitor the physical development needs of players
- Assist with the testing and collection of anthropometric data when required
- Assist with the physical testing and screening of players, including the Functional Movement Screen (FMS)
- Regularly update the Performance Management Application (PMA) as required
- Ensure all administrative tasks associated with this role are up to date and maintained

The Assistant Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach should:

- Have a minimum of a degree in the field of sports science and strength & conditioning (or working towards)
- Have recent and relevant experience working within a sports performance environment
- Have recent and relevant experience of working with children and athletes under 18
- Have experience in the design, implementation, and monitoring of programmes for junior athletes
- Have excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Be personable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Be willing to engage in and undertake Continued Professional Development (CPD)
- Applicants will only be considered from within Bristol and surrounding areas (circa 30 minutes)

Academy Sports Therapists (Part Time / Casual)

Bristol Rovers FC Academy are looking to recruit additional Sports Therapists to support the Academy Sport Science and Medicine Department to support the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to all Bristol Rovers FC Academy players within the schoolboy program and to assist with the injury prevention program part of the Sport Science and Medicine departments. The role will involve working midweek evenings and some weekend work.

Key Tasks include:
- To support in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all players within the pre-academy, Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase.
- To assist in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of Professional Development Phase players as required by the department.
- To support schoolboy match day cover as required.
- To assist the Athletic Development coach in the conducting of physical movement screening and anthropometric tests as required
- Ensure all medical notes are up to date within 24 hours of treatment.

The Academy Sports Therapist should:

- Possess the FA Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF)
- Have a minimum of a degree in the field of Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation or a related field (or working towards)
- Previous working experience and knowledge in injury prevention and rehabilitation
- Have excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Be personable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Be willing to engage in and undertake Continued Professional Development (CPD)
- Applicants will only be considered from within Bristol and surrounding areas (circa 30 minutes)
