Serving hot snacks, must have good numeracy and customer service skills.

Attending tables and ensuring cleanliness standards, polite and diligent, resolving any issues that may occur.

Matchday Young Pirate Volunteers

We are looking for energetic/outgoing people who enjoy working with children to join our friendly team to work on matchdays 11.30 am to 15.00 hours as Young Pirate volunteers, You will looking after the Fanzone, selling sweets/drinks, looking after inflatables, meeting and greeting matchday mascots and reconciling any money/making secure. Must be 16 or over.

Head of Medical (Academy)

We are looking for a personable and enthusiastic person to join our team as Head of Medical within the Academy. You will have responsibility in the running of the department, including taking an active role in all medical meetings and weekly planning. Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both orally and written, together with a high level of IT skills including Word/Excel and Access. Leading in the screening, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all players. You will also be able to produce a progressive injury rehabilitation programme.

This is a chartered physiotherapist role therefore you must be HCPC registered and have ATMMiF qualification.

This position requires Enhanced Criminal Records Checks and checks against the Barred Lists and is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Therefore, all convictions including spent convictions that have not been subject to filtering by the DBS should be declared.

Lead Academy Physio

Bristol Rovers FC are looking to recruit a Lead Academy Physiotherapist to work with players across all Academy Phases, including evening and weekend work.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience working within an elite sport environment and possess an evidence-based approach to the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of academy football players.

Reporting to the Academy Manager and working closely with the academy’s performance support and technical staff, an understanding of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) at category 3 or above is desirable.

The successful candidate will have excellent management and communication skills. An ability to make decisions and work independently is essential.

Age Group Coach – Youth Development Phase (Part Time / Casual)

Bristol Rovers FC are looking to recruit a part time Academy coach to work within the Youth Development Phase of our Category 3 Licenced Academy programme. Successful applicants will report directly to the Lead Phase Coach and the Head of Coaching, and will be responsible for the delivery of the Academy coaching programme in line with the Academy philosophy.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills, as well as being a role-model to young players. They will be able to show that they are capable of creating and delivering innovative and engaging coaching sessions to challenge and develop the player in line with the Academy coaching syllabus, as well as demonstrating that they understand the needs of the modern young player in terms of their physical and psychological development.

The roles involve working in the evenings (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) and during Weekends. There will also be an expectation for administrative tasks to be completed as part of the role.

Applicants will only be considered if they hold a minimum of UEFA 'B' coaching qualification (essential), as well as having demonstrable experience of working with players within the u13-u16s age range at a similar level. Possession of the FA Youth Award is also desirable.  Applicants will also need to be locally based (living within 45 minutes of the Bristol area).

Successful applicants will undergo a screening process that will include an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure and FA Licenced Coaches Club status checks.

Academy Sports Therapists (Part Time / Casual)

Bristol Rovers FC Academy are looking to recruit additional Sports Therapists to support the Academy Sport Science and Medicine Department to support the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to all Bristol Rovers FC Academy players within the schoolboy program and to assist with the injury prevention program part of the Sport Science and Medicine departments. The role will involve working midweek evenings and some weekend work.

Key Tasks include:
- To support in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all players within the pre-academy, Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase.
- To assist in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of Professional Development Phase players as required by the department.
- To support schoolboy match day cover as required.
- To assist the Athletic Development coach in the conducting of physical movement screening and anthropometric tests as required
- Ensure all medical notes are up to date within 24 hours of treatment.

The Academy Sports Therapist should:

- Possess the FA Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF)
- Have a minimum of a degree in the field of Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation or a related field (or working towards)
- Previous working experience and knowledge in injury prevention and rehabilitation
- Have excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Be personable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Be willing to engage in and undertake Continued Professional Development (CPD)
- Applicants will only be considered from within Bristol and surrounding areas (circa 30 minutes)

Pre-Academy Age Group Coach

We are looking for two Pre-Academy Age Group Coaches to join our Academy, to work Tuesday, Thursday evenings 17.30-19.30 and Saturday when fixtures require. You will be responsible for the delivery of the Academy coaching programme to maximise the opportunities for young players to reach their full potential in line with the Academy vision and philosophy.

Talent ID Vacancies

Bristol Rovers FC are looking to expand the Recruitment Department of our Category 3 Licenced Academy programme and are accepting applications for new scouts. Successful applicants will report directly to the Head of Academy Recruitment and will support the identification and recruitment of talented local players who have the potential to progress into the Academy program.

We are looking for individuals who have a strong knowledge of local junior football and ideally with a pre-existing network of contacts. The individual must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to act as a front-line ambassador for the Club and the Academy within the local community.

The roles involve flexible working. There will also be an expectation for administrative tasks to be completed as part of the role.

Applicants must be locally based and be in possession of the FA Talent ID Level 1 and FA Safeguarding Certificate.

Successful applicants will undergo a screening process that will include an Enhanced DBS Check.
