Mo Baghdadi Leaves Rovers

25 January 2019

Development Squad midfielder Mo Baghdadi has today left the club after it was mutually agreed to terminate his contract.

The 22-year old left his home country of Germany in the summer of 2017 to join Rovers and has been a regular feature in the Development Squad since.

Amidst loan spells at Dorchester Town, Poole Town, Weston Super-Mare and Bath City, Mo made his debut for the Rovers' first team in April last year, coming on as a 77th-minute substitute in the 1-1 draw at home to Blackburn Rovers.

He also came off the bench in the final game of last season, in the 70th minute at Southend United, which ended 0-0.

He made a further appearance for the club this campaign, again coming on as a substitute, this time in the Checkatrade Trophy 2-0 win over West Ham Under 21s.

Everyone at the club thanks Mo for his services and wishes him all the best for the future.
