Rovers midfielder Sam Matthews donated tickets to pupils of a local school this week for our Checkatrade Trophy semi-final against Sunderland.
Sam went along to on Tuesday afternoon to hand out free tickets to 30 football-enthused students.
After that, he fielded a Q&A from the curious youngsters, followed by a brief kick around in the playground!
"We went down to a local primary school to give out some tickets for our Checkatrade Trophy semi-final against Sunderland - the children seemed excited and looked like they enjoyed it". Sam said.
"There was few funny questions from the pupils, asking about the rivalry with our city neighbours and hopefully they will enjoy the opportunity to come down and watch the game against Sunderland."
