We would like to thank all the teams who took part in the annual Bristol Rovers Golf Day which took place at Farrington Park Golf and Country Club last Monday.
hilst the weather was against us, the course and food were absolutely superb and everyone seemed to be in good spirits throughout the day.
The winning team this year were Team FP, captained by Terry Stacey and accompanied by Rovers player Tom Nichols.
Second place went to Steve Park (who was celebrating his birthday on the day) and team from 3rd Generation Gas who were accompanied by Tom Lockyer with third place to Richard Trotman and colleagues from Jelf who were accompanied by former player Paul Tovey.
Many thanks to Jon Cowgill, Jon and Melisaa Calway and all the staff at Farrington Park for making everyone feel welcome and for another superb event.
Also special thanks to Thatchers for sponsoring the event again this year and Office Beverages for providing water for all the teams.
Bristol Blue Glass kindly provided the stunning winners plate and paperweights for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, whilst Farrington Park, The Bristol Hotel and Chepstow Racecourse all donated prizes for nearest the pin and the longest drive.
