We are certain that many Rovers supporters will have read about the mindless damage caused to Pomphrey Hill football pitches recently.
These pitches were wrecked by people who thought it would be fun to drive/wheelspin their car(s)around this local sports facility, thus ruining the surface and making the pitches totally unplayable.
Hundreds of local children play on the pitches at Pomphrey Hill, including Bromley Heath United whose Chairman has asked if we could publicise the club’s efforts to raise sufficient funds to enable the pitches to be repaired as soon as possible.
We understand that as much as £10,000 is required to make this possible and we are happy to publicise the fund raising efforts being made by the volunteer trustees who head up the charity Pomphrey Hill Community Sports Association.

There is a park run taking place at the facility tomorrow to assist with the fund raising and any assistance that can be provided by Rovers supporters would be greatly appreciated by all at Pomphrey Hill and Bromley Heath United.
