We take a look at what Graham Alexander has said in the run-up to Saturday's game.

Ahead of the trip South on Saturday, Scunthorpe boss Graham Alexander has been speaking to iFollow Iron about the prospect of travelling to the Mem.

"It is always a tough place to go," Alexander told the Scunthorpe United website.

"I think they (Rovers) have got a very good home record and it will be a tough venue to go to."

Scunthorpe head into Saturday's game on the back of consecutive draws, against both Peterborough and Northampton in recent games, with the Iron without a win since the first weekend of February.

"We want to get back to winning ways after a difficult period of probably drawing too many games. That is something we want to address and put right. Saturday is the first opportunity to do that and we are going to give it our best shot. "

On the injury front, the Iron may well be without a few key players for the encounter, as striker Ivan Toney looks set to be a serious injury doubt.

"Ivan is struggling for the weekend," revealed Alexander.

"We will see how he is, but my gut instinct is that he possibly won’t be available. We will have to make decisions after training and pick the team that we feel will give Bristol Rovers the most problems."
