Chris Lines spoke to the press on Monday afternoon at the training ground.

Looking back on Saturday's win at Oxford, the midfielder praised the resilience of the team to once again come from behind to take all three points, pinpointing Saturday's performance as one of the best of the season.

"It was a great all-around performance from the boys," said Lines.

"Obviously, we didn't have the greatest of starts but these things happen and as we have proved on a number of occasions this season, we are not scared to come from behind to win a game."

"For me, the win at Oxford was in our top three performances this season. There were a lot of lads on top of their game and if we wouldn't have won the game then I think it would have been a bit of a travesty."

"I'm glad we got the two goals and were able to come away with the win."

The win at the Kassam was the perfect start to a busy week for Darrell Clarke's side, who now switch focus to Tuesday's visit of Rochdale to the Mem, before a trip to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

"When there are three games in a week, it's always massive," described Lines.

"If you are able to pull a run of wins together then you find yourself heading in the right direction."

"As the Gaffer says, it's a new project. Rochdale will have a different style to Oxford. Rochdale are a little more direct in their play, but the Manager will have a different game plan and we will work on that."

"If we can start following up these away wins with victories at the Mem then that will put us in a great position."
