The following statement comes from the chair of the Blue Diamond Club, Roger Brinsford.
"I very much regret to have to inform you that the Blue Diamond Club Luncheon scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled.
The FC (Football Club) have been in touch regarding the forecast for tomorrow.
They have very kindly given BDC (Blue Diamond Club) the option to cancel, otherwise we would be liable for the full cost.
The Committee would like to thank the FC for their very kind gesture and confirm that we really do not have any other option.
We can arrange a refund of the money you have paid.

Otherwise your booking will be held in credit for you against a forthcoming lunch."
