Ollie Clarke is relishing facing Oxford United on Saturday, with the backing of 1,800 Rovers fans in the away end.

The away allocation for this weekend's clash has completely sold out and looks set to produce another great atmosphere in game that has somewhat taken on the label of a derby in recent years.

Ollie and The Gas have enjoyed some success at the Kassam Stadium, winning on their last four trips to Oxfordshire and the midfielder is hoping to send the fans home happy once more.

"Every time we go there it's a big atmosphere because it's somewhat of a derby and the fans always get right behind us no matter where we go and hopefully we'll send them home happy." Ollie said in an exclusive Rovers interview.

"The last few times we've been there it's been a good place to go and we've managed to pick up a few wins, so hopefully we can get some more points on the board and kickstart another run again."

Only two points and three places separate The U's and Rovers, meaning a win would send Darrell Clarke's men above their opponents.

An extra incentive to pick up all three points on Saturday, in a league where Ollie is looking to see where a win would leave the side in the table.

"It's a very tight league and in every game you're almost looking to see where a win could take you.

"I think that we've just got to stay solid and keep looking to pick up points and we've done that a lot better since the turn of the year and hopefully we can do it again on Saturday."
