Loan Watch

9 April 2018

We take a look around the leagues to see how the players out on loan got on over the weekend.

Ryan Broom continued his run in the starting eleven at Eastleigh. The Welsh winger was awarded Man of the Match in a dramatic 1-1 draw against promotion contenders, Wrexham at the Silverlake Stadium. Broom had an early chance saved by Wrexham 'keeper Chris Dunn and now prepares for the long trip to face Barrow on Tuesday evening.

At Swindon, Rollin Menayese wasn't included in the matchday squad for the Robins' 0-0 draw at home to Carlisle United. Next up for Phil Brown's side is the visit of Yeovil Town to the County Ground this Tuesday evening.

Mo Baghdadi was introduced at half-time for Weston-Super-Mare, as the National League South side fell to defeat against Dartford. Baghdadi, couldn't force home a late effort on goal, as Weston registered a 3-1 loss. Both the loan agreements for Baghdadi and Kenan Dunnwald at Weston have now expired.

Hungerford hosted Braintree in the National League South, with both Alfie Kilgour and Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist involved from the start, as a second-half own goal prevented Hungerford earning a point against Braintree, who are placed just outside the play-offs. Next up for Hungerford is a fixture against Wealdstone F.C on Monday evening.

Defender Jonny Burn missed York City's 2-0 defeat to Harrogate Town through injury, while Development Squad defender Ghassan Abu Hassan didn't feature for Bishop's Cleeve against North Leigh on Saturday.

At Poole Town, right-back Jordan Williams started in a 2-1 defeat to Chelmsford. Kunle Otudeko also featured in the fixture for Poole Town, appearing as a second-half substitute.

Connor Jones was on duty for Mangotsfield at home to Wimborne and almost scored in the opening forty-five minutes, as Mangotsfield were defeated 2-1 at Cossham Street.

Academy goalkeeper Liam Armstrong was in between the sticks for the Tiverton's 3-2 victory over Farnborough, while Tom Mehew featured for Yate Town against Winchester.
