Impressive Home Record

14 September 2017

In spite of our defeat against Oldham Athletic at The Memorial Stadium on Tuesday, Rovers’ home record under Darrell Clarke for the last three seasons is pretty impressive.

If you discount the 2013/14 season, when Darrell was only in charge for the last eight games of the campaign, Rovers have played 73 home games in the league, winning 47, drawing 12 and losing just 14.

In 2014/15, our one and only season in The Conference, we won 17 and drew four of our 23 home games, while the following season when we were back in League Two, there were 15 wins and two draws.

Last season, in League One, it was 13 wins and six draws, while this season we have lost two of the four league games played at The Mem.

The Mem really has been a fortress for the club since Darrell became manager and as well as an impressive run of results, crowds have also increased and the backing received from supporters has gone a long way to contributing to our home record.

In that time, of course, the club has been promoted twice and achieved a top ten placing in League One and the aim is to better that position this time around.
