The fifth hole at Farrington was changed to the Charity hole in aid of Bristol Rovers Community Trust where £380 was raised for the clubs community arm.

At the end of the day, the final scores were tallied and the overall winners of the day were Red Bus Nursery who were captained by Liz Hogarth and accompanied by Rovers player Joe Partington.

The team from Associated Access Equipment Ltd were incredibly accurate on both nearest the pin holes as Harry Cockram scooped a one night B&B for two at the Bristol Hotel and teammate Brian Cotterell secured a Four-ball at Farrington Golf and Country Club.

On the 18th hole, the club held a longest drive competition where Rovers forward Tom Nichols clocked an impressive tee-shot winning himself a four-ball at Filton Golf Club.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Thatchers Cider for sponsoring the event along with Jon Cowgill and his team at Farrington Park for putting on an unbelievable event once again.

Thanks also needs to go to Bristol Blue Glass for providing the winner's prizes and Office Beverages who kept our participants hydrated throughout the day.

A special thank you needs to go to Harry and Jim from Associated Access Equipment Ltd who put a staggering £10,000 prize for a hole in one on the 10th hole, unfortunately, no one was successful this time around.

Bristol Rovers would also like to thank Manager Darrell Clarke and his squad for their attendance at the event and we would also like to thank all the teams that participated in the event which was a tremendous success and look forward to an even better event next year!
