The defender has been selected in the eighteen man U21 squad to travel to Norway.
The Republic of Ireland will be looking to keep their unbeaten start to the qualification campaign for the UEFA 2019 U21 European Championships intact when they travel to take on fourth-placed Norway next week.
The sides played out a 0-0 draw when they met back in October, as Ryan played the full ninety minutes.
The game will take place at the Marienlyst Stadion, Drammen, with kick-off at 7pm (6pm local time).
