Getting to Know: Bury F.C

Team Nickname: The Shakers

Home Ground: Gigg Lane

Distance from the Mem: 179 miles (358-mile round trip)

Manager: Lee Clark has been in charge at Bury since February and helped steer the Shakers clear of the drop-zone last campaign. The former Newcastle, Sunderland and Fulham player has previously managed Birmingham, Huddersfield, Blackpool and Kilmarnock.

Last Season: Bury ended last season in 19th position in SkyBet League One, thanks to an upturn in results in the second half of the season following the arrival of Lee Clark to Gigg Lane.

Last Encounter: Rovers were defeated by a 3-0 scoreline when they made the trip to Bury back in March.

New Recruits: Manager Lee Clark has already added to his squad for the upcoming season, bringing in Northern Ireland international Adam Thompson and Joe Skarz, who spent three years at the club between 2010-2013. Last week Bury announced the signing of Eoghan O'Connell, who played at the Camp Nou for Celtic last season and Jay O'Shea, who joins Bury following a loan spell at Sheffield United.

SkyBet Odds: League sponsors SkyBet offer odds of 33/1 on Bury winning SkyBet League One next season. They are priced at 3/1 to face relegation next season and can be backed at 9/2 to finish inside the top six.
