Open Day Success

30 July 2017

Darrell Clarke and his squad were overwhelmed by the number of supporters who attended the club’s Open Day today.

A crowd in excess of 3,000 turned up at The Memorial Stadium not only to meet the players, but to purchase the new home and away kits and many of those in attendance were full of praise for the organisation on the day, commenting that it was the best ever Bristol Rovers Open Day they had attended.

That, in no small part, was down to the Memorial Stadium staff pulling together as a team on what was their day off and the club would like to record their thanks and appreciation to each and every member of staff who worked today.

Thanks, also, to the stallholders, stewards, the Army, our own Community Trust and Everyone Active and the staff who brought along the climbing wall for keeping everyone entertained throughout the day.

Last, but by no means least, we would like to thank all of the Gasheads who turned up in such large numbers and for helping to make the day a huge success.
