Earlier today Rovers announced the signing of striker Tom Nichols for an undisclosed fee.
Twenty-three-year-old Tom, a former Exeter City player, will link up with the squad travelling to Portugal later today.
Nichols made his debut for Exeter City on the 7th May 2011 in a 2-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday and went on to score thirty-four goals in ninety-eight league games for the Grecians.
During his time at St James Park, he spent time on loan at Dorchester Town, Hereford United and Bath City.
In February of 2016, Tom joined Peterborough United and during his time at London Road scored eleven league goals in fifty league games.
