Rovers welcome Scunthorpe United to The Memorial Stadium, the teams last met on 10th August 2013 with a crowd of 6,259.
Rovers had their woodwork to thank for helping to secure their first point of the season in a 0-0 draw with Scunthorpe.
The visitors twice hit the post in the first half with Sam Winnall shaving the outside of the upright and Terry Hawkright crashing his 25-yarder against it with keeper Steve Mildenhall at full stretch.
Rovers also needed a goal-line clearance from defender Michael Smith, who denied Winnall again, to keep themselves in a contest in which visiting keeper Sam Slocombe did not have a serious save to make.
Already missing 10 players through injury, Rovers had their ranks depleted further when they lost skipper and central defender Tom Parkes who departed on a stretcher in the 17th minute after being knocked unconscious while tussling with striker Deon Burton.
Scunthorpe created the better chances after the break but Mildenhall tipped over Burton's glancing header and Hawkright twice went close, firing wide from a 25-yard free kick before scooping over the top from 14 yards.

11.00am: The Clubhouse Bar opens for Home supporters on a first-come, first-served basis. Leeds v Sheffield Wednesday showing live on the big screens.
11.00amIrene’s Kitchen Restaurant will be open in the Bristol Room, serving hot food from chips, burgers, hot dogs, pasties, pulled pork rolls and lots more.
12noon: Ticket Office opens and will remain open right up to kick-off at 3pm for supporters looking to buy home & away tickets or collect tickets for today’s game. Bolton & Oxford tickets will be available to purchase.
1.30pm: Stadium opens
Families are welcome In the Bristol Post Family Terrace, there is a food kiosk where you can buy food and drinks. Captain Gas will make an appearance before kick-off along with FREE Face Painting outside the clubhouse.
Don’t forget to buy your 50-50 tickets to be in with a chance to win a substantial cash prize. Tickets will be available throughout the stadium before kick-off with the draw taking place at half-time. Look out for our Bristol Rovers Supporters Club 50-50 volunteers around the stadium.

Home fans in the South, South West, West Enclosure and Family Terrace will have access to a bar located in the South West corner of the ground.

4.50pm: On the final whistle, the Clubhouse Bar re-opens with the Six Nations and Screen Soccer Highlights on the big screens before the bar closes. Irene’s Kitchen will remain open until 6.00pm.
