Pick Up a Copy of Our Match Day Programme

1 December 2017

Our matchday programme, The Pirate, now consists of 88 pages and costs only £3.00.

This season’s issue is packed full of news and views from an eclectic mix of contributors, all writing about Bristol Rovers and those articles sit side by side with a wide range of articles on club matters.

In Saturday’s programme, for our game against Rotherham United, manager Darrell Clarke pens his own notes, and we have three match reports from our U-18 side, one for our Development Squad, together with a selection of photos from their game against Bristol City. In addition, we feature a profile of First Year Scholar Tom Mehew.

Our programme cover commemorates the fact that we are it’s Rainbow Laces Day when we are showing our support of LGBT + inclusivity by using rainbow coloured corner flags to raise awareness of Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign.

Don’t forget our extensive historical section, either, as this week we take a look back at December 1979 when Bobby Campbell, Harold Jarman and Terry Cooper were all key players in what was going on behind the scenes at The Gas. Also catch Stephen Byrne’s Rovers’ Miscellany, an article in which he looks at the Nigerian players we have faced down the years.

In addition we carry interviews with Rory Gaffney and Ollie Clarke, while it’s Rollin Menayese’s turn to be the dressing room DJ in this week’s edition of Pirate Sounds, brought to you by Lance Cook.
The Pirate is available from the club shop and sellers around the stadium and still only £3.00; why not purchase a copy this weekend and see what you think?
