Rovers have today added to their Development squad with the signing of former Charlton and Southend United youngster Jordan Williams.
The young defender played in last week’s Premier League Cup tie against Bury and has signed a short term deal with Rovers.
Development manager Chris Hargreaves was pleased to welcome Jordan to the club, saying; “Jordan impressed last week at Bury and we are delighted he has chosen to join us as he looks to earn himself a longer deal.
“Jordan was a highly rated player at Southend and his arrival means that we have competition for most positions in the squad. We look forward to working with him during the coming months.”
