If you attended our games against Cambridge United and Peterborough United you will have noticed that the East Stand has been rebranded and is now known as the Poplar Insulation Stand.
We can now confirm that this well-known local company has agreed to sponsor the East Stand, which will now be known as the Poplar Insulation Stand.
Our photo shows managing Director Blaine Nolan with Rovers boss Darrell Clarke as the company confirms its sponsorship with the club.
Blaine said: “As a Bristol based company we strongly believe in supporting local sport and we are very pleased to have negotiated this sponsorship deal with Bristol Rovers Football Club.
“We are sure that our partnership with Bristol Rovers will be of benefit to both parties and we wish the club every success on the pitch for the current season.”
Meanwhile, Memorial Stadium Manager Ian Holtby said; “We are delighted that Poplar Insulation have agreed to sponsor Bristol Rovers Football Club, for a significant sum of money over two years, and look forward to a long and successful partnership with them.
“It has been a pleasure dealing with representatives of the company during the discussions we have had regarding the terms and conditions of their sponsorship and I am pleased to bring everything to a successful conclusion.”
