THREE TO WATCH: MILLWALL

27 April 2017

We take a look at the potential threats in the ranks of Sunday's opposition!

#9 - Lee Gregory - Striker

The twenty-eight-year-old striker is Millwall's leading goalscorer this season, with fifteen goals in all competitions.

Gregory was on the books of Mansfield Town as a trainee, but the striker failed to make an impact for the Stags and eventually moved to Halifax Town.

During his spell at Halifax, the forward achieved the impressive goal return of twenty-nine goals in just over thirty-five games which drew the attention of Millwall and the striker signed at the Den in June 2014.

Gregory has been ever-present for the Lions this season, adding four assists to his healthy goal tally. On average the striker finds the net every 196 minutes.

#20 - Steve Morrison - Striker

The experienced striker has scored fourteen goals so far this term but also had six assists to his name and still averaging a goal every 225 minutes played.

Building his career during a spell at Stevenage, the forward first moved to the Den in July 2009, where he made over eighty appearances before leaving to join Norwich in June 2011.

Morrison's spell at Carrow Road lasted eighteen months before the striker made a switch to Leeds United.

After struggling for goals at Elland Road, the forward returned to the Den on loan for the 2013/2014 season and made his stay permanent in the summer of 2015.

At International level, the striker has twenty caps for Wales, with one international goal to his name, which came in a qualifying match for the Euro 2012 against Montenegro.

Morrison started the 2016/17 season in fine form, finding the net six times during August alone. In recent weeks the striker has only found the net once since March, with the goal coming in Millwall's 1-1 draw against Gillingham at the beginning of April.

#14 - Jed Wallace - Midfielder

The winger arrived at the Den in the January on loan from Championship side Wolves and has made over 30 appearances for the Lions this season.

Wallace is now in his second temporary spell at The Den following a similar move in the second half of 2015/16. He started his professional career at Portsmouth, where he became a fans favourite, scoring 27 goals in 100 League appearances.

After moving to Molineux in the summer of 2015, the 22-year-old only made a handful of starts for Wolves, prompting Lions manager Neil Harris to secure his services on loan in January 2016.
