The Football League have announced fixtures for the 2016/17 season will be released on Wednesday, June 22nd.

The newly-branded Sky Bet English Football League will kick-off on the weekend of Saturday, August 6th and will be followed by the first round of the League Cup the week commencing August 8th.

There will be a busy festive period with games on Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and Monday, January 2nd 2017.

Matchday 46 – the final round of games – in Sky Bet League One will take place on Sunday 30th April 2017, while the Sky Bet Championship and Sky Bet League Two will come to a close on Saturday 6th May 2017.
