Bristol Rovers have taken the decision to appeal the red card shown to Jermaine Easter in Saturday's game with Mansfield Town.

Easter was shown a straight red card in the 45th minute at the One Call Stadium for allegedly headbutting an opposition player.

The club will submit the appeal today and the outcome of the appeal will be known tomorrow afternoon.
