ROVERS SIGN PARIS COWAN-HALL ON LOAN

23 November 2015

Winger comes in from Millwall

Rovers have this morning  completed the signing of Millwall striker Paris Cowan-Hall in a one month loan deal.

The 25 year old signed for Portsmouth in 2007, following his time in the youth set up at Rushden & Diamonds.

Whilst at Fratton Park he spent time on loan with Grimsby Town before joining Scunthorpe, as a non contract player, in October 2010.. In February 2011 he rejoined Rushden & Diamonds on loan and in the summer of that year signed for Woking.

In May 2012 Paris joined Plymouth Argyle and went on to score three goals in 40 league games whilst at Home Park.

January 2013 saw a move to Wycombe Wanderers, where he was to score 10 goals in 45 league games. His move to Millwall was completed in January 2015 and to date he has appeared in 11 games in all competitions for The Lions, the last of which came in the first round of the FA Cup on 7th November.

Speaking of his new signing, manager Darrell Clarke said; "I am delighted to be able to bring Paris to The Memorial Stadium on a one month loan.

"He has played at this level with Wycombe, where he scored a number of goals before signing for Millwall in January of this year.

"I am looking forward to working with him and would like to thank Millwall boss Neil Harris, who I know very well, for allowing Paris to join us."

Chairman Nick Higgs added; "I am pleased to be able to welcome Paris to the Memorial Stadium and wish him every success during his time with us.

"His signing will add to the competition for places in Darrell's squad and I look forward to seeing him in action for the club."
