Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers held an open training session at the Memorial Stadium this morning and hundreds of supporters were in attendance.

It’s was a great opportunity for all Rovers mad youngsters (and their parents!) to come along and see the players being put through their paces ahead of our important home game against Chester FC on Friday.

Once the training session had ended, Darrell and the players met with everyone in the clubhouse to sign autographs and allow people to have photos taken with their favourite Rovers star.

When asked about the open training session, Darrell Clarke said "We as a club thought it would be a great opportunity for people to come along and see the boys train for an hour especially as all of the kids are off of school.

"We have a massive fan base and it is nice for us to give something back to them and it is a bit of a thank you for their fantastic support so far this season.

"I'm not sure how many people actually turned up today but the numbers were great and it just shows how well supported we are as a football club."
