MATCH PREVIEW: WYCOMBE WANDERERS

1 December 2015

A quick look at tonight's opponents!

Bristol Rovers go into today's game looking to continue build on Saturday's draw away at Exeter City.

Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to repeat the result against Wycombe Wanderers from earlier in the season.

Team News: Will Puddy is the clubs only long term absentee.

Darrell's View:”We played the right way on Saturday and deserved the win but that is just how football is sometimes.

"We beat them [Wycombe Wanderers] earlier this season but both sides have changed a lot since then so that result has nothing to do with this game."

Opposition: Wycombe currently sit in 9th place in the Sky Bet League Two table having picked up 30 points from their 18 games so far this season. Last time out Gareth Ainsworth's men shared the points with Portsmouth after losing a two goal lead.

Dangerman - Garry Thompson: The experienced forward joined the Chairboys in June 2015 following his release from Notts County and the former Morecambe man tops the clubs goal scoring charts this season with five goals in all competitions. Thompson was on target on his last outing as he slide in his 100th league career goal to put Wanderers 2-0 up at home to Portsmouth.

Last Time Out: Goals from Matty Taylor and Jermaine Easter inside the opening 15 minutes sealed Rovers passage into the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy area Quarter-Finals back in October this year.

Tickets: Supporters will be able to purchase tickets on the night at the Mem this evening.
