WOKING MATCH PACK

19 September 2014

All you need to know ahead of tomorrow's game

Rovers will be going into tomorrow’s game looking to make it four league wins in a row for the first time since April 2007 whilst maintaining their unbeaten home record.

Opposition: High flying Woking will be looking to return to winning ways coming off the back of their first defeat of the season to Torquay on Tuesday night. The Cardinals went down 1-0 at Plainmoor - their first defeat on the road in 11 matches.

Danger Man: Scott Rendell: Highly experienced striker who initially signed on loan for the Cards in September 2013 from Luton Town. The former Reading man has racked up 43 appearances Woking scoring 24 goals, with 7 of them coming this season. The striker enjoyed a loan spell at Bristol Rovers in 2011.

Darrell’s View: “They’re are a decent side, they have a very experienced non-league manager in Garry Hill and they have a good squad there.

“Halifax have come here with a 100% record, Wrexham came here with a 100% away record, so we will just see what Saturday brings.”

Opposition View: After losing to Torquay on Tuesday night, manager Gary Hill said: "I’m disappointed but it was a tremendous [unbeaten] run. To take 21 points from 30 in the manner and the football we have played and to see where we are sitting in the league, we've started to show we really are a hard team to beat."

Team News: With no injuries in Tuesday’s win over Nuneaton, Darrell could have a fully fit squad to chose from.

Last Meeting: This is the first time the two teams have faced each other in a competitive fixture.

Ticket News: Fans are being reminded that they have until 5pm today get their Early Bird tickets for Saturday's Conference fixture against Woking. Supporters can save £2 on normal match day prices by buying their tickets in advance.
