Manager full of praise following today's 2-0 win

Darrell Clarke couldn't speak highly enough about the clubs supporters following his sides 2-0 victory over Woking at the the Memorial Stadium.

Having won the previous three games, Rovers today beat the side that were second in the table whilst remaining unbeaten at home.

Adam Cunnington opened the scoring in the second minute before captain Lee Mansell curled in a free kick with less than 10 minutes to go to secure all three points.

The manager said "The support here again was fantastic, to get over 6,000 at this level is magnificent.

"The crowd really get behind the players here and it does lift them."

Darrell also praised the character oh his squad following his change in formation at half time.

"Credit goes to the players as well, it's not east to change formation in the middle of the game and they coped with it will.

"We started 4-4-2, then went 4-3-3 and then finished 4-4-2 again whilst changing the players so massive credit to the boys for sticking with it."

Having scored in the opening 5 minutes for the second consecutive match Darrell was pleased with the way his team have been starting games.

"We got on the front foot and got the goal early just like Tuesday and it is a great way to start a game.

"We got ourselves into great positions on the counter and eventually got the goal that finished it off."

When asked about long term Rovers target Jamie Turley signing for Eastleigh, the Rovers boss just said that he was disappointed.

"Could he have to things a little more professionally? Yeah I think so but it's done now so we have to move on.

"I came of the training pitch on Thursday to find a text from his agent saying that Jamie was going to sign for Eastleigh - which is very disappointing.
