What's On At The Mem | MK Dons (H)

Young fans in Fanzone

Find out what's on this weekend at The Memorial Stadium, where matchdays are about more than just the football!

Plan your visit to the stadium to ensure you make the most of everything going on at the Mem as we welcome MK Dons for a Sky Bet League Two fixture.

Fanzone

Check out the live music on our Fanzone stage which will be playing from 1:30pm until kick-off! This weekend we are welcoming Ben & Seb, an acoustic duo from Weston-super-Mare.

The Community Trust Pirate Deck will be open from 12:30pm until 2:45pm.

This is a dedicated space for families within our Fanzone where children aged under 14 can enjoy playing together, meeting our Club mascots Captain Gas and Irene, and inflatable football games in the lead up to kick-off.

Food & Drink

This season our Pirates' Kitchen in the Fanzone is serving a rotational menu with different food options on offer every home game.

On 11 October it will be the return of the chip shop with fish and chips, battered sausages and mushy peas available.

As usual, Happy Hour will be running from midday until 2pm and 5:30pm until 6:30pm in Thatchers Bar, BRFC Legends Bar and in our Fanzone Bars, where you can enjoy £4.50 draught pints!

Club Shop

Visit the stadium store, open from 10am onwards, to browse our new Est. 1993 line including a blackout Bristol Rovers t-shirt, sweatshirt and hoodie.

Half-Time

At half-time our Former Players Association will be welcoming Steven Yates and relatives of John Baker Muir and Ian Baker Muir for a cap presentation by the tunnel.

Bristol-born Steven Yates made 197 league appearances for Bristol Rovers between 1988 and 1993 before returning to the Club as Kit Manager and Coach and Recruitment Consultant between 2013 and 2017, where he worked closely with Darrell Clarke.

Father and son John and Ian Muir both played for Bristol Rovers, in the 1930s and 1950s respectively.

Community

This matchday the Community Trust have invited the Bradley Stoke U12 Development Team to attend, and many will be joining for their first ever live football match. We hope you all have a fantastic day and that your first game is a win for the Gas!

We will also be welcoming young people from the Premier League Kicks project, which is a community programme that works with young people at risk of anti-social behaviour, youth violence or from high-need areas and engages them in football, sport, mentoring and personal development.
