Bristol Rovers is proud to share that Academy player Raffi Budd represented Canada U15s at the recent CONCACAF U15 Championship.
Raffi was the only squad member playing his club football in England and made a strong impression throughout the tournament. He captained Canada in their fixture against the USA, showcasing great leadership, despite a narrow 2-1 defeat.
Canada were unable to progress from their group, following a 0-0 draw with Saudi Arabia and a 1-0 loss to Costa Rica. Nonetheless, Raffi’s selection and performance on the international stage mark a significant milestone in his young career.
This is a huge achievement for Raffi and a proud moment for his family and everyone at Bristol Rovers. The club extends its warmest congratulations to Budd on this fantastic accomplishment.
