Bristol Rovers is delighted to confirm that a substantial number of free tickets for veterans have been made available for the Gas' Sky Bet League Two fixture against Gillingham on Saturday.
The Pirates offer free tickets to veterans for every fixture at The Memorial Stadium, but even more have been made available for the upcoming fixture on Saturday 8 November.
Members of the Armed Services can book their tickets here!
The Gas' match against Gillingham is the Club's designated Remembrance fixture, with veterans able to book their place for themselves and their family through the Tickets for Troops website here.
Rovers' dedicated Remembrance fixture, which is always the closest home game to Remembrance Day, will feature activities to commemorate the sacrifices of servicemen and women and their families, past and present.
Poppy Badges are on sale at the Club Shop at The Mem, with there also being a Remembrance service ahead of kick-off, with a Rovers official laying a wreath, a Bugler playing the Last Post and a two-minute silence to remember those who died in conflict.
After publishing this article it has come to the Club's attention that Tickets for Troops are reserved for active members of the Armed Forces or those who have been medically discharged. If you are a veteran and would like to redeem a free ticket to our home fixture with Gillingham, please email tickets@bristolrovers.co.uk with a copy of your HM Armed Forces Veteran Card.
