Carl Brook

Carl Brook will be the referee for Bristol Rovers’ Sky Bet League Two test against Tranmere Rovers.

About to enter his fifteenth year of officiating football matches, Brook started in the in the Premier Reserve League in 2011, with the Fulham Reserves netting seven goals, including five goals from Italian Centre Forward Marcello Trotta.

He then moved his focus to the National League, overseeing the qualifying round for the playoffs back in 2020. In a match behind closed doors, Paul McCallum and Mauro Vilhete provided two second half efforts, with a late finish from Vilhete. He awarded two yellow cards, and the Bees made it to the semi-finals before being knocked out by Notts County.

Brook is no stranger to refereeing a game for either Rovers, having already refereed eight Tranmere Rovers and nine Bristol Rovers games, having overseen a lot of Bristol Rovers games in Sky Bet League Two and Tranmere Rovers in their National League stint. 

The most recent match that he was the man in the middle for was the Sky Bet League One clash between AFC Wimbledon and Luton Town, which ended 3-0 to Luton Town and he awarded two yellow cards.

He will be joined by Danny Guest and Danny Jarvis as Assistant Referees and William Davis will be the Fourth Official.
