Accomplished referee Garreth Rhodes will be officiating Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture between Bristol Rovers and Salford City.
He started his senior career in the National League North. He refereed 18 fixtures across the 2016/17 season and has now reached 115 matches in the competition.
He has since taken charge of matches in the National League, Sky Bet League Two, Premier League Two and FA Cup.
His most recent outing was in a Vertu Trophy match between Blackpool and Barrow, with the Tangerines coming away with a 5-0 triumph. Rhodes has refereed two fixtures in Sky Bet League Two in his career, with the only one this season ending in a 2-0 win for Cambridge United against Newport County.
He will be accompanied by assistant referees Marcus Carmichael and Steve Durnall, as well as Jason Roberts, who is the the Fourth Official.
