Bristol Rovers' Sky Bet League Two fixture against Gillingham at The Memorial Stadium will be refereed by Alan Young.
Alan Young has officiated 12 games so far in the 2025/26 season, including six in the fourth tier, one in the National League, two in Premier League 2, one in Sky Bet League One, and three in the respective domestic trophies.
Overall, Young has officiated most of his fixtures in League Two, tallying 84 games and handing out 364 yellow cards and eight straight red cards across the competitions.
Young has officiated a Rovers game on eight occasions in his career. The most recent occasion was against Leyton Orient on January 1 2025, with the Gas losing 3-2 at The Mem.
In contrast, he has officiated 14 matches that have included Gillingham. Young refreed the Gills twice in the 2024/25 campaign in Sky Bet League Two, with Gillingham beating Port Vale at home before losing to Fleetwood Town later in the campaign.
Alongside him will be assistant referees Conall Bartlett and Sean Rothwell. Thomas Staten has been appointed as the fourth official.
