Darren Drysdale will be the man in the middle for Bristol Rovers' Sky Bet League Two fixture at The Memorial Stadium.
The experienced referee first officiated a Pirates fixture all the way back in the 2004/05 season, when the Pirates lost 2-1 away from home to Northampton Town before a 3-0 victory over Rushden & Diamonds at The Mem.
Drysdale did not feature in a Rovers fixture last term, previously officiating a Gas match when they beat Leyton Orient 1-0 at the BetWright Stadium in the 2023/24 campaign.
In comparison, Drysdale has officiated 14 Fleetwood matches and has already taken charge of one of their games this season, where the Cod Army beat Harrogate Town 3-2.
Drysdale has refereed an impressive 645 matches in his professional career, with 26 coming in the 2025/16 season across five different competitions. His previous match came in Sky Bet League One, where Wycombe Wanderers beat Port Vale 4-0 at Adams Park.
He will be accompanied by Ollie Williams and Harley McKittrick as Assistant Referees and Matthew McQuillian, who will be the Fourth Official.
