Meet The Officials | Barrow (A)

James Oldham

Referee James Oldham will be the man in the middle when Bristol Rovers travel to Barrow in Sky Bet League Two.

Oldham has refereed eight of the Pirates' fixtures in his career, with his first coming in the 2019/20 season when Bristol Rovers beat Southend United 4-2 in Sky Bet League One. The official has already overseen a Rovers fixture this term, with the Gas drawing 0-0 with Oldham Athletic at The Memorial Stadium.

In comparison, Oldham has overseen four of Barrow's matches, with this being his first since the Bluebirds beat Newport County 2-0 in the 2022/23 season.

He has officiated 58 Sky Bet League Two fixtures in his career, more than any other competition, with the referee overseeing 15 games across six competitions this campaign. His previous fixture was also in the fourth tier midway through December, with Milton Keynes Dons drawing 1-1 with Cambridge United.

He will be joined by Thomas Cooke and Bradley Hall as Assistant Referees and Mark Cunliffe as the Fourth Official.
