Bristol Rovers will look to secure another three points as they travel to Rodney Parade in their Sky Bet League Two fixture against Newport County this Saturday.
The Pirates achieved triumph last weekend in their clash against Grimsby Town, when an immense volley by Macauley Southam-Hales secured the victory on the road for the Gas. Darrell Clarke’s side have seven points from their last three league outings.
Newport County currently sit 20th in the Sky Bet League Two table and were beaten 2-0 against Cambridge United in their last fixture.

The fixture will be on in the Thatchers Bar at the Mem. Open from 11am ahead of the 12.30pm kick-off, Happy Hour prices will be in place throughout the whole day – meaning our draught selection is priced at £4.50 - with the bar staying open for two hours following the final whistle in south Wales.

Travel…
By car, take the M4 exit towards S Wales/M5 and take the slip road onto the M4. At junction 25, take the B4596 exit to Caerleon/Newport/Casnewydd/Cwmran. At the Caerleon Interchange, take the 1st exit onto Caerleon Rd/B4596 and continue to follow it.
Turn left onto Rodney Road, turn left onto Grafton Road and then right onto Beresford Road and Rodney Parade should be on your left.
By train, the closest station to Rodney Parade should be Newport Station, the stadium should be a five-to-ten minute walk from the station.
There are also taxis and buses in Newport that can take you to and from the stadium.

The 2025/26 season marks the 13th consecutive season in EFL League Two for the Ironsides after being promoted back into League Football in the 2012/13 season.

After having a turbulent 2024/25 season, defeating teams such as Crewe Alexandra, Morecambe and Barrow, the Welsh side finished with 52 goals, conceding 76 goals and finishing with 49 points overall. This placed them 22nd on the EFL League Two table.
The Exiles are currently sitting 20th in the League Two table with 5 goals to their name, triumphing over Crawley Town and conceding against MK Dons and Cambridge United.

A memorable victory from the Gas against Newport County came in March 2016, with the Gas retaliating with four goals against Alex Rodman’s 2nd-minute goal.
