Opposition...

Charlton have been in strong form in League One and have won five of their last seven games in the third tier to move from 14th to tenth in the table. The Addicks are only two points outside of the playoffs and are undefeated at home since the start of December, where they lost 2-1 to Crawley Town.

The London club are playing in League One for the fifth successive season and are seeking a return to the Championship under Nathan Jones, who is an experienced manager in the English Football League after his successes with Luton Town.

Charlton have also been impressive in recent midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) matches in League One, winning their last two games. They last won three successive fixtures in April 2021, a run of four where their third victory was a home one against Rovers (3-2).
